The Yoga by Design Foundation transforms lives through the healing practices of yoga, mindfulness and meditation, empowering underserved individuals and populations to live to their highest potential.
YBDF provides yoga, mindfulness, and meditation practice — at no cost — to a variety of recipients, including persons with cancer, physical and mental disabilities, at-risk youth, homeless young adults, incarcerated young men, veterans healing from sexual abuse and PTSD, and others.

For a $100 donation, Leading Lights will receive a t-shirt, special gift and optional recognition at Yogathon as part of the Circle of Leading Lights. Leading lights will ALSO be entered in a special drawing for a private, docent-led tour of the DIA, a meal for two in the DIA Dining room, and a special gift from the DIA gift shop. Value $200. (Yogathon Class ticket is not included).

Founded with the goal of providing dignity and respect to those that had been institutionalized and forgotten, the Calumet Center, sponsored by Spectrum Human Services, seeks to empower and strengthen individuals, families and communities.
The Yoga by Design Foundation teams up with the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation to bring the peace and healing powers of yoga to the at-risk students of Madison Prep High School. The YBDF program has supported community growth and an overall supportive environment.
