Hospice of Michigan offers Camp Good Grief to children ages 8-17 who are healing from painful loss or tragedy. This day-camp experience combines fun and adventurous activities with grief education and emotional support, all facilitated by Hospice of Michigan grief professionals and trained volunteers.
At Camp Good Grief, children will find comfort in the knowledge that there are others who have experienced a similar circumstance and can relate to the way they are feeling. At Camp Good Grief, children have the opportunity to address their feelings, remember their loved ones and create friendships that last long after camp is over.
Through Yoga class at Camp Good Grief, a grieving child is introduced to a lifelong practice of attaining peace of mind.
